Why BusyBi

Not a generic network with a bisexual checkbox.

BusyBi is designed around how bi people actually connect: sometimes for love, sometimes for friendship, sometimes simply to stop feeling like the only one in the room.

01

Built from bisexual lives outward

Bi identity is not a search filter here. It is the starting point for community, friendship, dating, events, and belonging.

02

Context before judgment

Meet through Hives, Personals, shared interests, and real plans — not a slot-machine stack of faces.

03

Private because the architecture says so

The public site describes BusyBi. It never displays the people, conversations, photos, or rooms inside.

The Lobby

Home is a place to choose your mood — not an infinite feed.

BusyBi opens like a private clubhouse. Members can talk, meet, find a room, make a plan, or browse quietly. The feed is available, but it does not own the front door.

The privacy wall

The web can find BusyBi. It cannot find the people inside.

No public profiles. No public posts. No outside search.

  • No member profile previews in marketing.
  • No public member search or indexable member routes.
  • No public media gallery, embeds, or share-to-social buttons.
  • BusyBi serves private sharing only to its chosen audience, with clear warnings that recipients can still capture what they see.

Marketing, legal, and launch updates only.

02

03
Inside BusyBi

Profiles, Hives, messages, events, and member content.

Member content never crosses back into the public layer.
Safety before scale

Warm boundaries. Clear ways to act.

These are BusyBi product requirements—not badges placed on a mockup. The public door does not claim a member control is live until it is verified.

01

Hide, mute, and block

Required on every applicable member surface, with each surface gated on verification.

02

Report with context

Clear reporting and severe-content handling are private-release gates, not future nice-to-haves.

03

Choose the audience

Member content is designed for scoped, server-enforced access—not a public sharing funnel.

04

Browse discreetly

Work Safe Browsing is a product requirement wherever member access is available.

Out in the world

Iced coffee on the playa, and a camp we hope to build.

BusyBi has no public profiles and no public feed, so nobody stumbles across it. We would rather meet people in person anyway — starting at Burning Man this year with a cold drink and no sales pitch.

01

This year: cold coffee, no strings

We are gifting iced frappes on the playa and handing out BusyBi stickers to anyone who wants one. No pitch, no scan-to-enter, no transaction.

02

The sticker is the whole ad

A bee and a web address. If BusyBi sounds like your kind of place, read it back home on wifi and decide there — not in the dust.

03

Next year: we plan to apply for camp placement

We would like to bring a proper bi+ camp to the desert in 2027 — coffee, shade, and somewhere to sit down. Placement is not ours to promise, so we will only claim it once it is real.

One invitation. Your choice.

We ask for one address to send a discreet ownership check. The email owner makes the final adult attestation and launch-notice choice from that private link.
